There may have been references on here already, I'm not sure. One
online source of information appears to be

  http://www.clubukonline.co.uk/local-events/Linux/linux.html

although this seems to be more incomplete and unsatisfactory than the
other page I've seen (but cannot find anymore)

About the quality of the event I cannot make good statements, from the
announcements and documents it appears I would like it to be a little
more solid and fundamented, though. That they seem to be talking about
"Linux" only is usually a good indication for this.

One could ask why exactly a SuSE representative was scheduled to talk
about the background, perspectives and advantages of GNU/Linux since
SuSE usually appears need a little more knowledge about this topic
themselves.

However, I'm planning to make sure that at least some qualified
background information on Free Software enters the round - also this
might provide a good opportunity to introduce the AFFS officially for
the first time as a truly competent organization to contact locally
for Free Software issues.

Regards,
Georg
