Thanks for the Aston Library reference, I can remember something about the 
validity of meetings being conducted over the 'phone, (conference call?). 

My Library Catalogue has been down for maintenance over the weekend, 
(after leading me on a wild goose chase to the far side of the County), 
I'll start my search again tomorrow, looking for a more recent reference.

PS I apologise if the list receives multiple posts of this message, there 
is an occasional problem which is, I believe, caused by my exchange, 
whereby at certain times of day I cannot send, or rather I am told I 
cannot send. When Communications both to and from are restored to normal I 
find my sent mail box full of several copies of the post which was being 
sent when the delay occurred. John
