Thanks - I had just worked out that && should have been & when I saw your
reply. This has allowed me to take the next step in my quest for why the
"console" font doesn't display properly in kde. [Actually that bug was the
real reason, but now its fixed it STILL doesn't work - see below]
Can someone point me at the specification for pcf fonts. The problem is that
the "console" font uses the property name "FAMILY" for its name and the code
is checking for the text "FAMILY_NAME". As a result this property is not
being found by freetype.
I have sampled some other fonts and these have all used the "FAMILY_NAME"
property. I would like to point the kde team at the spec if when I explain
the bug they ask.
