Dear Suzuki san,

Your patch solved the problem.
Tested both with
- ./configure CC="cc -m64"
% nm objs/.libs/libfreetype.so.6.16.1 | grep FT_Init_FreeType
[2394]  |    355488|       123|FUNC |GLOB |0    |17     |FT_Init_FreeType

- ./configure CC="cc -m32"
% nm objs/.libs/libfreetype.so.6.16.1 | grep FT_Init_FreeType
[2398]  |    185536|       148|FUNC |GLOB |0    |15     |FT_Init_FreeType

Best regards,

--- Kiyoshi

Maybe
    __attribute__((visibility("__global"))) foo
is wrong, and
    __global foo
would be correct. also I guess
    __attribute__((visibility("default"))) foo
is acceptable for Oracle cc too.

I uploaded the revised tarball (revised patch is attached).
No need to try immediately :-)
