I haven't found the reason yet, but when I try to reply to a message
in Gnus, the "--text follows this line--" string appears after the
References: header with no intervening newline. Composing a new
message works fine. I'm running Gnus CVS as of a few hours ago, and I
sign all messages by auto-inserting a #secure tag from
gnus-message-setup-hook.
