Hi,

I've just recently started serving my blog with blosxom
(http://tkd.kicks-ass.net/blog), but I wanted to continue writing the entries
with emacs-wiki...

I've got patches against Damien's last emacs-wiki release to treat all files
in the whole tree below emacs-wiki-directories as valid wiki files, and to
publish them with the same relative paths (keeping links etc). That is
'Wiki/Blosxom/blog/media/web/this-site/NewHost' is published to
'http://tkd.kicks-ass.net/blog/media/web/this-site/NewHost.html'. Is there
any interest in my merging in Sacha's latest emacs-wiki.el and posting the
patches here?

I was thinking that it would be a good addition to planner to store day pages
by directory on top of this patch; that way the day pages would be stored (and
published) as WikiPlanner/2004/03/24(.html) etc. It would certainly tidy
things up in the index etc.

One issue I have thought about a bit but not implemented is that opening a new
wiki should check that the name is unique across the whole subtree normally,
but planner would need to override that check for day pages. Any others I
might have missed?

Incidentally, I've also started using my new emacs-wiki-blosxom.el derived
mode to mark up wiki files for blosxom to serve. It needs some polish, but
I'll put it on my website soon.

Cheers,
        Gary.
