Yes, but you get mail sent to emacs-devel. Not everyone who sends to
emacs-devel is subscribed to it, nor do they all read it via gmane.io
like I do (or some other method of getting it). The polite assumption
is to CC the originator of the message, just in case, which is what
Drew did.
