There are a couple of places in the source that do the likes of
tem = Fexpand_file_name (build_string ("lisp"),
Vsource_directory);
So you may only see the value of source-directory, whereas "lisp" is
appended by these code snippets.
What I cannot understand is how come we get there in an installed
Emacs. My reading of the code is that we shouldn't.
