So something like GDB's --config option?

 $ gdb --config
   This GDB was configured as follows:
      configure --host=i686-pc-mingw32 --target=i686-pc-mingw32
                --with-auto-load-dir=$debugdir;$datadir/../auto-load
                --with-auto-load-safe-path=$debugdir;$datadir/../auto-load
                --with-expat
                --with-gdb-datadir=d:/usr/share/gdb/10.1 (relocatable)
                --with-jit-reader-dir=d:/usr/lib/gdb (relocatable)
                --without-libunwind-ia64
                --with-lzma
                --without-babeltrace
                --without-intel-pt
                --with-mpfr
                --with-xxhash

                --without-debuginfod
                --with-guile
