That is true.  The editor we're all working on right now is called
"Emacs", and the reason why we sometimes refer to it as "GNU Emacs" is
to remind people that is part of the GNU project, not to distinguish it
from other Emacsen such as "Lucid Emacs".

Notice that all other Emacsen out there use another name: e.g. "XEmacs"
is not called "X Emacs", "Zile" is not called "Zile Emacs", ...
