For the sake of completeness, using Emacs CVS 20070829 07:20 (cvs -z3
-d:pserver:address@hidden:/sources/emacs co -P -D
"29 Aug 2007 7:20" emacs) bootstraps, while the CVS of few minutes later,
7:30, fails in bootstrapping as described.
It looks the problem is in src/term.c.
