- using parted to initialize/partition a SDHC 64GB; interactive mode used; results as follows:

Question please - is there any chance that /dev/sdh SDHC could be rescued somehow? or just ... chuck it?.

Looks like you have a flakey disk.

Yep, this was fixed back in 2015.  I guess I should make a new release.
