Follow-up Comment #1:

I found another problem with that scheme, it was written for the Python 2.5
urlparse.  In 2.4 you do not have the attribute pu.scheme, py.netloc, or
pu.path.  Its a simple tuple.

I'm going to back the changes out until we can get a version that works
correctly.
