It was in the form, but the bigger problem is how would one phrase such a question?

Well, the question was quite generic...

What about www.doodle.com and just giving all potential dates for the next 6 months?
After a while, some preferences will show up. And the more people register themselves, the clearer the picture becomes.

But it might be limited by the location. Locations large enough to host such an event usually have some time slots they can offer.

Just so you guys know.  For me the only factor is time. I need to know when do I can buy the tickets.

That said, I'd be happy to host another meeting in Cambridge.  We're a bit constrained by term dates (and by the fact that I spend a slightly excessive amount of time travelling), but outside of term we could probably find a college that's willing to host a nice dinner without much difficulty.

On Dublin side, I've sent out a preliminary email. Let's see what happens.

My preferences are
1. Vienna (not necessarily combined with Q2/Linuxweek)
2. Dublin
3. other (Milano, Switzerland, Cambridge)

But Greg, you are right - the timing is equally important. Ivan, can you initiate some poll to choose between potential weeks/time frames?
