I really like the concept you have there of having the folders show approximately how many documents are in them by their size. It leverages the prevailing metaphor in a completely intuitive way to add really useful information to the interface.

But this needs software support. How hard would it be to add to GWorkspace? I guess it would require some extra directory scanning, which might be annoying if done in the foreground...
