[Discuss-gnuradio] Any one know how to detect CDMA2000 or EVDO pilot channel

Hi all, 
I am implementing CDMA2000 and EVDO phy layer. 
I know 
pilot channel is used to estimate channel and synchronization, 
but I
 don't know how to use it any one know how to detect pilot channel
and
 how to take advantage of pilot channel to estimate channel and 
synchronization. Or just give a hint of how to find the method is 
helpful
too.
