and not what it should produce (forced
by using Semibreve Rests at end of test2 and test3):
I tested it with 1 bar notes, 1 Whole Measure Repeat, then 20 bars
of music and a Whole Measure Rest, which was replaced by the Whole
Measure Repeat.
It would seem that a single Whole Measure Repeat then
"contaminates" the rest of the staff.
If I invoke the Object Editor on the "chord", I get this screen
which looks odd to me. Why have a Rest and a Repeat attached to
each other ans some fictitious chord to keep them in place
If I edit the directives attached to the chord I get this:
selecting the top option with OK replaces the Repeat with a Rest;
selecting the lower seems to do nothing.
Best wishes

Hi Richard.
Done.
I have added 4 bars to your sample, Bar 5 has a repeat of the music
in bar1 bass in different octaves. Bars 678 are, in both staves,
whole measure RESTS.
But those with preceding Whole Measure Repeats don't show rests.
Yes, this was a bug, I've fixed it now (I hope)
Attached is your .denemo file, edited.
for anyone following the thread, the attached file was actually *not*
the edited one, but I figured out the bug from the pictures.

You will have to post up an example - I just tested (attached) and it
seems ok

Hi Richard,
Happy Christmas.
Whole Measure repeat seems to take over somewhat.
In these staves the first is 1 music then 7 rests
The second 1 music, whole measure repeat, then rests
The third has 2 Whole measure repeats two rests then 1 music and
finally 2 rests.
The Typeset is below and, apart from staff 1 all rests are Typeset
as Whole measure repeats.
Even the introduction of some notes in Staff 3 does not change
things
Looks like a bug.
