Hello Thomas,

You're pretty responsive regarding demexp packaging. :)

When looking at you changelog, I noticed that entry:

 * 20050706: Minor cleanups
[...]
    - changed make targets in demexp-gtk2-client and demexp-server to avoid
      unnecessary compilation of the static and bytecode versions.

I would prefer that you keep bytecode version of the client around (you
can throw the static one, I'm the only one to use it). In OCaml, only
the bytecode version allows to have a precise diagnosis (backtrace) in
case an exception is raised. So, in case of issue, I could ask somebody
to rerun the bytecode client with the appropriate parameters. I admit
that the size overhead is not minor (3 MB, but 1 MB compressed).

We are currently *developing* demexp. :)

In the long-term, of course, only the native version should be kept.

Yours,
d.
