Display of user objects

Hi all,

I am wundering if it is possible to specify a method to display user
objects in ddd/gdb?
Concrete, if I have a object that has arbitray data length support have
a complicated data
structure underlaying. If such a object would have a to char* conversion
method, would it
be possible to call this when the user tries to display such an object
and display the result
of the conversion, rather then the plain object.
