These are assertions inside gtk, not chicken (or code generated by

I don't fully
understand what (sched:6186) is telling me. The number changes each
time I run the program. Sched is the name of the program.
Me neither.
At this
point I have no idea how to correlate the message to the code other than
by not adding the widgets that seem to be affecting the message. The
program is never terminated by the assertion failure. The only outcome
is that the message is printed. The program appears to run fine until
it is closed.
As the application works, it seems that these assertions are not totally
critical. I assume you are not running a development version of gtk, or
are you?
