Hi,

i got a notification from the bug-xorriso moderation system about the
following mail. Then it seems to have discairded the mail. I guess because
of the 5 attached PNG files or because of its size of 400 KB.

So i now forward the text of the mail to the list and begin to investigate
as far as possible without a MS-Windows machine.

Have a nice day :)

Thomas

Subject: [report] [bug] libisofs can't omit ";1" with "omit_version_off"
set, and windows marked ";1" as "_1" with file name.

Hello

I catch a bug with libisofs that i can't find wiki page to report, so mail
it to you, hope you can share your feedback, thanks.

I try to burn some files on Debian with "iso9660 + Joliet" file system
first, and burn on Windows later, again on Debian. After the process i found
the files' name changed with "_1" on Windows.

Before the process, i set "omit_version_off" to support omit the version
number (";1") at the end of the ISO-9660 identifiers.

After the loop burn on Debian and Windows, the result is different on Debian
and Windows, so i think this is a bug for libisofs.

Here is my steps:

Step1: burn "step1_1.text","step1_2.txt" on Debian, no ";1" on each file.

Step2: burn "Step2_1.text","Step2_2.txt" on Windows, and each file marked
with ";1"

Step3: burn "step3_1.text","step3_2.txt" on Debian, no ";1" on new files,
the old file keeps ";1"

And on windows, the ";1" changed to "_1".

I try to track the codes on libisofs, i can sure the code have marked the
";1" with my print:
