well, SVCD and VCD2.0 (as it comes to navigation they are more or less
the same) don't allow for the advanced navigation control features a DVD
may offer the designer...

you just have the ability to give the few abstract buttons 'prev',
'next', 'default', 'return' and the numeric keys some meanings...
but which physical buttons on the remote this abstract keys are mapped
to cannot be controlled from withing the VCD, but is rather an
implementation detail of the player...

and well, I don't expect this to be a bug in vcdimager; it may well be
that your player firmware does not properly handle the PBC
information... but I'll take a closer look at vcdimager to be sure...
