For you information :

  1 ) i cannot compile vcdimager on Solaris 2.5.1, because there is no
function snprintf and vsnprintf (there is a trick to change this function
in __snprintf and __vsnprintf because this function exist - but hidden -
in 2.5.1 Solaris library. I haven't try it).

  2 ) I compile succesfuly on Solaris 8 (i think that work in solaris 2.6
and 7, because in this release,  snprintf and vsnprintf functions
exists). To compile, i had to change the name of one c structure in
vcd_xml_rip.c file. This is offset_t, this structure already exist in
<sys/types.h> on Solaris 8.
