Yes, you do. The function level_log_name(), used by both scripts to
generate listing file names, takes *optional* second argument. If it is
called with a single argument, the value of the global variable
DUMP_LEVEL is used (see backup.sh.in:247)

'Scripted Restoration', for detailed description of both scripts.
