No, GRUB's support for filesystems is all read-only. But that sounds
like you seek for a house of cards. If you allow anyone to boot DOS,
he/she can fundamentally do anything he/she wants to do, even for NT
and Linux. So if students don't have to use DOS, you can protect the
machines, by requiring a password to boot DOS.
