Hmm, no, please. Let's split this series into multiple bits and work on it piecewise in a git repo. I can help, you do not have to do all the work.
Let's start by pushing the tests/ parts, then the struct changes, then the uncontroversial bits (basically up to patch 20, with the nit of squashing patch 27 where appropriate), then what's left.
