I have the latest version of GnuBG (Windows) installed on Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit. I have several games/matches saved (SGF files). I can't seem to delete them. The files are only visible in the GnuBG explorer window (Program Files (x86) > gnubg. When I look in the folder in windows explorer, the files are not there. I click on the files and the games/matches are loaded. This tells me the files are there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the GnuBG, but the sgf files are still there. What is going on?

On Windows Vista/7 the file is not under C:\Program Files\ but in %localappdata%\VirtualStore\, as normal Users are not allowed to write in C:\Program Files\
The same goes for Program Files (x86).
The user (and the program) think they save/load from the path shown, but Windows redirects to a folder with write access.

I think Win8 has the same behaviour.
Try searching for a known .sgf file.
