I've submitted the code to KDE/playground repository, so now you can have a look at it :)thanks for replying, ØysteinAlexander Smirnov wrote:Hello I wonder if it is possible to reuse gnubg engine in my application. I'm developing open source backgammon game for K Desktop Environment and looking for strong computer opponent. Looks like gnubg is the greatest opponent we have now! :-)Cool! How far have you come in the progress? Is this a Qt interface or an full integration with KDE? Do you have a source repository we can take a glance at?
to browse sources through web: http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/games/backgammon/ to get the code: svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org//home/kde/trunk/playground/games/backgammon
You'll need kde development libraries, tune environment and get some compilation scripts to compile that... That's a whole procedure... I can share my executable (compiled on kubuntu9.04) if you do not want compile it yourself.
It misses many things, and can be considered as demo only. -- Thank you, -Alex
