I've submitted the code to KDE/playground repository, so now you can have a look at it :)

to browse sources through web: http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/games/backgammon/ to get the code: svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org//home/kde/trunk/playground/games/backgammon

You'll need kde development libraries, tune environment and get some compilation scripts to compile that... That's a whole procedure... I can share my executable (compiled on kubuntu9.04) if you do not want compile it yourself.

It misses many things, and can be considered as demo only.
