[Bug-gnubg] GtkGLExt

I have still been unsuccessful at trying to build gnubg using rpmbuild.
Everything seems to work more or less O.K. until I get this message:

checking for GtkGLExt - version >= 1.0.0...
*** pkg-config cannot find gtkglext-1.0 >= 1.0.0
*** Set the environment variable PKG_CONFIG_PATH to point to the correct
*** configuration files.
no

Despite this error, the build continues for a while until it reaches a 
fatal error in neuralnet.c:

neuralnet.c: Assembler messages:
neuralnet.c:1058: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `pushf'
neuralnet.c:1059: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `pop'
neuralnet.c:1062: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `push'
neuralnet.c:1063: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `popf'
neuralnet.c:1064: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `pushf'
neuralnet.c:1065: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `pop'

Any ideas what's going wrong and how to fix it?
