Can anybody access the help/commands in the gtk2 versions. Mine crashes

Strange, it crashes with the latest build from the website on my windows
machine, but works from the build I did locally - perhaps it's to do
with a new version of gtk?

It works for me with the Debian build of 0.14.3 against the latest version
of gtk in Debian,

It crashes for me (on FreeBSD), but this is not new. See the end of http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnubg/2005-10/msg00019.html

Core was generated by `gnubg'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

but I do get a few assertions from doing nothing but
starting up gnubg and then going to help/commands:

(gnubg:23636): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_depth: assertion
`GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed
(gnubg:23636): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_pixmap_set: assertion `gdk_colormap_get_visual
(gtk_widget_get_colormap (GTK_WIDGET (pixmap)))->depth ==
gdk_drawable_get_depth (GDK_DRAWABLE (val))' failed

I get these too, but this is very recent. I think it started with the last gtk upgrade (to 2.8.16).
