I like the old layout better, but as it seems that I'm outnumbered I
didn't bother to complain :-)

You want to make the query: how am I doing at DMP compared to other
scores.
The other way gnubg can support this query is by saving ALL games in the
players' record. It's vital to understand that the current players'
records only store the 3 averages -- it does *NOT* store ALL games! It
would be ridiculous to only save a few "interesting" match scores in
such file -- it's either all or nothing.
This is a major change to the players' records, and it will break your
existing players' records.
It's a fairly small task to change the players' records to save all
relevant data, i.e., basically everything from the game statistics, but
you must accept that the only feature we will supply within gnubg will
be similar to the current -- we'll will not supply the feature you
specifically requested (i.e., the error rates at diff. match scores),
since such a feature is best left to a data manipulation program.
