[Bug-gnubg] Annealing rate

Hi folks,

for the translation: can someone exlain, what "annealing rate" means? A
german translation to "anneal" goes from "glühen" (means "being very hot
and shiny") to "härten" (means "getting stronger" like iron switching to
steal).
