Ah, so the problem with the erratic posting is not due to Savannah but our 
mailing list. Who can configure this? I guess it's enough to set 
address@hidden on the white list.

My idea was more simple minded so that it would involve human 
consideration. Just a check box where the developer decides whether it's 
worthwhile forwarding to the list or not, default to on.

It's a pity that these options are limited to personal configuration only. 
I've thought about (mis)using it as global, but this probably doesn't work.
