Well, there is no tooltip on the option menu as a whole, but there are
individual tooltips on each of the choices while the menu is popped up.
Is it really unclear what the menu is for (especially since the radio
button immediately above has a tooltip describing it)?

You can change the default match length on the "Match" page. This patch
was checked in on a different commit to the other options patches, so if
the timing was unlucky, it might not have shown up in a build from
yesterday.

I think that's a good idea. This entry has been in the TODO file for a
long time:
** Add a prompt and entry field to allow commands to be entered (replacing
stdin).
Now that the message window is here, that would be a natural place to
put it.
