Hi,
gettext installs a couple programs in $(libdir)/gettext, that fit far
better in $(libexecdir)/gettext as per the GNU Coding Standards. I
can submit a patch for this if anyone wants, but it is a minimal
change so I haven't bothered.
`libexecdir'
The directory for installing executable programs to be run by other
programs rather than by users. This directory should normally be
`/usr/local/libexec', but write it as `$(exec_prefix)/libexec'.
(If you are using Autoconf, write it as address@hidden@'.)

Cheerio!
