Bug in gnuchess-5.04 on epdload

I've compiled and installed gnuchess 5.04 on FreeBSD 4.0, and I've a core 
dump when I execute "epdload" command:

$> gnuchess-5.04/gnuchess

Transposition table:  Entries=1K Size=32K
Pawn hash table: Entries=0K Size=24K

Content of /temp/automa.epd.730.in is:

with no leading or trailing spaces/lf.
