If you have G4 (or G3), I would suggest you to switch to the latest MacOS
X, which comes with GCC (and BSD UNIX). -- There is no point in bothering
about MacOS pre-X at this late point.

I compiled it for MacOS pre-X using Metrowerks CodeWarrior Pro 5, using
GMP's generic (non-PPC-assembler) 32-bit setup.
