Well, I'm quite busy this year, I'm too involved into too many
things. I can't guarantee a response time for the whole gettext
suite. I haven't looked into the whole gettext code yet.

It should be possible for me to help on the xgettext tool part,
especially the Javascript scanner I already offered to maintain.
Beside that I'll following the mailing list and occasionally
provide help or review some code.
