Hello,

I'm looking for some assistance with understanding how the
documentation for GNU findutils needs to be improved. I need to find
out the following things :-

1. Are there features of GNU findutils which are documented in the
manpages but not in the Texinfo documentation? The answer to this
question should be "No" but I'm not certain that the answer
actually is "no". I'd like to find a volunteer to compare the
   information in the two documents.

2. Does the Texinfo documentation for findutils actually include
enough information for the reader to understand what the software is
for and how to use it, or is it only suitable for reference purposes?
Is the documentation easy to navigate and find information in?

One of the tasks above is really only suitable for people who know a
bit about how to use "find", and the other is really only suitable for
people who don't know much about how to use "find". Everybody falls
into one of those two camps, but each task is quite involved.
Therefore, I'd like to ask people who might be able to do one of those
two tasks to help me by volunteering to do one or the other. If you
are interested in helping, please send me an email letting me know.

I will eventally also need some "regular" proofreading support, but
since the aim of these two tasks is to allow work to being on some
significant improvements to the findutils documentation, it makes
sense to do the regular proofreading after the majority of those
changes have been made.

You can download the current release of GNU Findutils from
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/findutils.

Thanks,
James Youngman.
