A Basic Question for DAP from a Novice.

Dear DAP,

 

I am writing with an interest in trying out your statistics program on my personal computer.  I understand DAP is functional with SAS program syntax.  This is something I am interested in, as I am working on improving my SAS programming knowledge.

 

My question for you is a basic one from a novice.  I have an old computer with the Windows 98 operating system.  Would I be able to download and run the DAP program on my Windows 98 system?  I do not have Unix and I am not so familiar with Unix.  I do have the old MS DOS command window for executing commands for program installation, etc.

 

Also, would you kindly recommend to me any solution for being able to try out DAP, and or an alternative program that you may know about with similar SAS program syntax functionality?
