address indicated in the Language-Team field of the PO file's header). They
are responsible for it.

"msgfmt --check-format" has a relaxed format string check for plural forms,
because a translator might want to translate to French this way:
msgid "%d user"
msgid_plural "%d users"
msgstr[0] "un utilisateur"
msgstr[1] "%d utilisateurs"
