Not really vetoed, but we somehow agreed to leave <avr/io.h> the way
the datasheet declares things, and invent something else (proposal:
<compat/io.h>) that tries to create something like a smallest common
denominator for IO port declarations. I'm still interested in the
latter, also for own test jobs.
