I'm trying to program with AVRdude, but to a poor showing.
I have the ppdev module loaded, /dev/parport0 exists and is writable by my user
in the lp group...
crw-rw---- 1 root lp 99, 0 Aug 7 11:14 /dev/parport0
My physical connections to my ATmega8 are sound, Continuity tested my
Cables... THey check out... tryed Two different AVRs in 3 different rigs (Dev
Board, New design and old design), all to the same phrase...
/usr/bin/avrdude -p m8 -c lares_dapa -P /dev/parport0 -U
flash:w:line_follower.hex
====================
avrdude: AVR device not responding
avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.
avrdude done. Thank you.
make: *** [program] Error 1
====================
NOw the kiker is that I had this working last week, but since I have rebooted,
and appearently something changed. I don't know what...
Any Ideas? of any sort?
Frustrated and acontent,
