I am willing to remove the non trace based code from Automake. Is
there any body would fear this?
There is one single issue: people who still use LIBOBJ assignments
instead of AC_LIBOBJ will have bad surprises. But this is a task for
Autoconf, not for Automake.
Comments? I'm using it, and it's working *fine*. Really. Many many
simplifications.
