Yes, it's a complicated topic, and every time I look into it I have the feeling
I misunderstand about half of it and am completely misguided as to other half.

I've done that sort of thing in my config file using the function `system-name`.

Indeed. Although "a bit obscure" is probably an understatement... :-)
