Your question doesn't have anything to do with auctex, right? Maybe
read the documentation of glossary.sty (I googled to find
http://theoval.cmp.uea.ac.uk/~nlct/latex/packages/glossary/manual.html)
and if there are still problems maybe ask on comp.text.tex?
