I've started work on the new character animation, and let me tell you, it's a 
tough job! All the detail that we have gained with the new res makes animation 
much harder, because it has to be much more elaborate and realistic - no more 
just wagging arms and feet moving 2 pixels - and no more 4 frame walk animation!

I've started doing the basic human frame from a 45 degrees top view, and am now 
animating it bit by bit. This is far from any finished char anim (the head is 
just an oval, the legs and arms to cylinders with a joint), but could be a 
basis for future work. It' just a much more complex thing than what I have done 
so far, and I'm glad if I have a simple 'skeleton' moving correctly.
Plus I am planning on documenting this, so that other artists will hopefully 
have an easier job...

So no results yet, but expect stuff in the course of next week!
