Hi, > My system is a Linux box with kernel 2.6.11.9, 512 MB RAM and > 3.4GByte swap running with a AMD XP 2400+ processor.no idea what's happening when you compile it, but I checked it out just a few days ago (and the CVS hasn't changed much since then, I just checked) and it compiled pretty quickly (I would say beyond half an hour, can't remember how long exactely)... and this is on a 1.3 Duron, 512 RAM and certainly less swap than you have (kernel 2.6.5-7, gcc 3.3.4, scons 0.95.D001 )... what gcc/scons versions do you use? If I find the time, I can try to update mine to your versions and see if it breaks... However, I guess someone else might be better suited to help you, I just started working with the source...
Cheers Alex
