[Yafray-devel] Weird insatlling problem (Yfray CVS)

Hi,

 I have a weird problem installing yafray (source from CVS). 
 After issueing the command "scons install" as root, my
 Linux box gets more and more under load and swapps heavily.

 I tried to stop any other application and (only exceptions were
 icewm,X and a shell and all system related deamons...) started the
 compilation/installation over night.

 After five hours I stopped the job...it was still NOT finished.

 My system is a Linux box with kernel 2.6.11.9, 512 MB RAM and
 3.4GByte swap running with a AMD XP 2400+ processor.

 I have NO idea what is happening here, since oter more "bigger"
 applikations compile/install without problem, like gimp, XFree,
 blender (also using scons), TexMacs, graphicsmagick, gcc...

 Any hint to fix this problem is very appreciated and I thank
 you in adcvance for your help! :)
