Thanks for this bugreport. I think the attached patch fixes the
problem. It would be great if you could test it. 

The diff is against the latest version, but it should apply fine to
other versions as well. This code has not changed a lot :)

If you need help compling or if you rather would like to test using a
deb package, please tell me (but I can only build a deb against
debian/unstable).
